Fort Frances man honks horn at police, arrested for impaired driving
A motorist who attracted the attention of police in Fort Frances is now facing impaired driving charges.
Provincial Police say it happened while officers were patrolling a school zone last Friday morning.
At around 8:30 a.m., a motorist drove up behind a police vehicle and started honking the horn.
The officer stopped, thinking the man needed assistance.
Instead, they took the 57-year-old into custody after determining he was impaired.
He was later released and will appear in court at a future date.
