Arthur Street West set for road resurfacing
A section of Arthur Street West is undergoing some infrastructure work, which is going to impact traffic on the roadway.
Starting on Thursday, lanes are being reduced between Highway 61 and Parkdale Boulevard for road resurfacing.
During the work, repairs are also being made to curbs and gutters, catch basins, maintenance holes, and catch basin lead pipes.
As the work progresses, rotating lane closures will be in place, and a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
The work is expected to take roughly six weeks to complete.
The city is asking drivers to use caution near the construction zone and to expect traffic delays in the area.
