No injuries reported in Fort Frances fire
A building in the central part of Fort Frances suffered smoke and fire damage resulting from a fire this week.
Members of Fort Frances Fire Rescue were called to a home behind the Nugget Motel on Wednesday.
Officials say the fire was located in the home’s basement and quickly extinguished.
One person in an adjacent basement apartment was assisted out of the building, but no one was injured.
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
