Kenora doctor presented with MOH ACE award
Kenora’s new Rural Generalist funding model for doctors has been recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
Dr. Jillie Retson was presented with an ACE Award, which stands for Achievement, Celebration and Excellence.
The ACE awards recognize the outstanding work and dedication of individuals, and health teams across health-care sector.
Retson worked with the Kenora Chiefs Advisory, local First Nations and the All Nations Health Partners to bring the new funding model to fruition.
