Arctic chill coming to New Brunswick this weekend
New Brunswickers will want to bundle up this weekend.
Environment Canada has placed the entire province under a yellow warning for cold.
According to the alert, a prolonged period of “very cold wind chills is expected.”
The coldest wind chills are forecast to be between -30 C and -37 C, with the most extreme expected in northwestern New Brunswick.
The cold snap is expected to begin Saturday morning and end sometime Sunday morning.
The chill is being caused by a northwesterly flow of arctic air.
