NEW: School closures for February 23, 2026
Anglophone South School District has closed schools for the day due to the winter storm.
Most Francophone South schools are closed, except Miramichi, Rogersville, Richibucto, Saint-Louis-de-Kent and Baie St. Anne.
Anglophone East schools are OPEN today, with a planned early dismissal at noon. Dismissals will begin at noon for K to 8 students, followed by high schools that will be dismissed between 1 and 2 pm. This will allow for school buses to be sent to schools.
