Red Lake receives NOHFC funding for industrial park
The Municipality of Red Lake is planning to expand its industrial park.
And the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is helping to make that happen.
The NOHFC is coming up with $500,000 to service existing and new lots.
That includes the installation of new sanitary sewer and water main.
“We are grateful for the support from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, which
is enabling the engineering and design work needed to accommodate future growth,” said
Fred Mota, Mayor of Red Lake.
“This investment will strengthen our community, support local industry and enhance Red Lake’s role as a vital supply hub for our neighbouring First Nations communities and the region as a whole.”
The money will also help complete roadway and grading work and reconstruction of driveways and fencing.
