Crash on Highway 17 shuts down lanes in both directions
A serious crash between two trucks has closed part of Highway 17 from Ignace to Shabaqua.
The Northwest OPP says it happened around 4 a.m. Thursday, according to a social media post.
511 Ontario shows the road closed in both directions from where the Highway 11/17 splits in Shabaqua all the way to Ignace.
No word yet on potential injuries.
Police say drivers should avoid the area.
