Ignace student excels at Ontario Skills competition
A student from Ignace has won his division in the Ontario Skills competition this week in Toronto.
Gavin Berube won gold in the individual carpentry division.
He previously won mens at the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board region skills compettion and the 2026 regional qualifying competition for Skills Ontario.
By placing first, he has earned a spot to be part of Team Ontario at the 2026 Skills Canada national competition.
