Cool month of May capped by sweltering weekend
The month of May was a bit cooler and drier than normal.
The daily mean temperature was 9.2 degrees.
That’s almost two degrees cooler than normal.
The last week of the month helped turn around what would have been a very cold month.
The daily mean temperature was 5 degrees colder than usual earlier in the month, but very warm temperatures pushed the daily mean up.
The hottest day was on Friday, when the thermometer hit 32.9 degrees.
Dryden also recorded 21.7 millimeters of precipitation, which was a mix of rain and snow.
