Kenora council plans to make appointment to fill vacancy
Kenora city council has decided to fill a vacancy prior to this fall’s election.
Barb Manson resigned her seat on council last month.
Because the next municipal election is just over 5 months away, according to municipal by-laws a by-election is not an option.
Council is expected to appoint someone to fill the vacancy this week.
