UPDATE: Missing mother and son found, alert cancelled
Police have found a mother and her two-day-old son after an emergency alert was sent out in Cape Breton.
It went out Monday night as police searched for the pair.
They say the woman was last seen by her family on Sunday night, and they were trying to confirm she and her baby were okay.
But in an update around 11:30 p.m. the alert was canceled and police say they found the mother and the infant.
