2 rescued from capsized boat on Lake of the Woods
A Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer was called upon to rescue two boaters on Lake of the Woods.
The DNR says two boaters were found at the south end of the lake.
One was in the water, while the other had made their way onto their capsized vessel.
The Conservation Officer was able to rescue them and take them to Warroad, where they were treated for exposure.
The DNR says water temperatures at the time were less than 20 degrees Celsius.
