Are you a fan of Mario? Today is Mario Day!
March 10 is Mario Day! Do you know why? It’s because “MAR10” resembles the character’s name. That’s pretty neat if you ask me. It reminds me of Star Wars Day on May 4 for it’s resemblance to the phrase, “May the force be with you.”
Mario games have been around a long time (Super Mario Bros marked its 40th anniversary last year) and I feel like they’ve been a part of everyone’s childhood. Whether you grew up playing Mario Kart with your siblings on the Wii and fought over who was player 1, or played Super Mario World day and night.
My favourite game to play growing up was Super Mario Galaxy, a classic. Speaking of that game, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie final trailer just released yesterday. The movie is set to release on April 1.
