Update: Shelter-in-place over at St. Pius X School

A shelter-in-place order at St. Pius X School has come to an end.

A bear in the neighbourhood led the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board to announce the safety measure around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday.

By 1:00 p.m., the Ministry of Natural Resources had captured the bear, leading to the end of the shelter-in-place order.
