A woman in Alberta put out a quiet observation

It caught enough people’s attention that Bonnie shared the story of her mom, Sadie Dancey.

Some of you have asked about my Mom, so here’s a short thread on the most amazing Mom ever, Sadie. Mom was born in Lancashire, England and moved to Canada when she was 2yrs old with her parents and 7 siblings.

She met my Dad, Brent, when they were just 12yrs old and they’ve been inseparable since. Their loveis what Hallmark movies are made of. With 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Mom is loved so deeply by her entire family.

Sadly, at 68yrs old, Mom is palliative. She’s living at home with her great palliative team visiting her often. The strongest woman I know has already outlived the Dr.’s by 6 months. She’s tired though. And we want to make sure she has the best Christmas ever.

So thank each and every one of you for sharing, liking, and sending Christmas cards to my Mom. You’re spreading so much joy to our entire family in our most vulnerable time. If we could hug each of you, we would. Merry Christmas
