Closures at Mapleton Park for dog race
If your weekend usually includes a stroll through Mapleton Park with your dog, you might need to change your plans.
The trail will be closed for the 2026 Moncton Dog Runners Spring Fast Fox Race.
Trail Closures:
Saturday, April 11, from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m:
- Full closure of the Lagune, Cattail, Riparian, and Bayou trails
- Partial closure of the Floodplain and Wetland trails
Sunday, April 12, from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m:
- Full closure of the Lagune, Cattail, Riparian, and Bayou trails
- Partial closure of the Floodplain and Wetland trails
Spectators are welcome, but non-participating dogs are not permitted on the course.
