District of Rainy River Services Board encourages residents to take part in provincial survey
The District of Rainy River Services Board (DRRSB) is promoting a government survey.
The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services is gathering comments on a poverty reduction strategy.
The Services Board encourages area residents to take part.
“Our region experiences challenges that can look different from those in larger centres,” states Charene Gillies, Chief Administrative Officer, in a release.
“Adding northern voices to this consultation will help strengthen the province’s understanding of the needs and strengths of communities like ours.”
Participants can complete the survey or submit written feedback at www.ontario.ca/PovertySurvey.
Hard copies of the survey are available from DRRSB’s Fort Frances office on Scott Street.
The survey deadline is November 30th.
