Drug trafficking investigation leads to charges in Thunder Bay
A police investigation in Thunder Bay has led to charges.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a report of an individual believed to be selling drugs outside of an apartment complex on the city’s north end.
A search of the individual revealed over 120 grams of suspected cocaine and more than 28 grams of suspected fentanyl in their possession.
Officers then searched the individual’s home on Spofford Street and seized suspected crack cocaine and other items associated with drug trafficking.
As a result, a 32-year-old is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Failure to comply with a probation order
The accused remains in custody with a future court date.
