Flu outbreak declared over at Fort Frances senior home
Riverside Health Care is lifting visitor and resident restrictions that were in place at Rainycrest Longterm Care in Fort Frances.
The measures were put in place in late December because of an Influenza A outbreak in the home’s east and west wings.
Riverside says the outbreak is now declared over.
Visitors, staff and volunteers still need to wear a mask when in resident care and common areas.
Masking requirements are in place at all Riverside facilities until further notice.
