Fort Frances accepting nominees for new citizenship/volunteerism awards
Nominations are now being accepted for the citizenship and volunteer awards offered by the town of Fort Frances.
There are seven awards this year, including citizen and junior citizen of the year.
The town created five new awards to recognize volunteerism and groups.
It includes two new lifetime awards.
Nominations can be made through the town’s website. Click here.
Paper forms will be available next week at the Civic Centre.
The deadline for nominations is February 28th.
Winners will be recognized during a ceremony to be held during National Volunteer Week in April.
