Fort Frances man facing additional sexual assault charges
Provincial Police have laid additional sexual assault charges against a man from Fort Frances.
OPP say six additional charges have been laid against the 73-year-old since an initial charge was laid in early September when police acted on a complaint.
No details surrounding the incidents or the name of the accused have been publicly released.
According to court records, at least one charge is listed as being filed in Thunder Bay.
Others were filed in Fort Frances.
Publication bans are also identified as being imposed on at least two of the files.
Police say there is no statute of limitations on sexual offences, and a report can be made to police at any time, no matter the amount of time that has passed.
