High winds and rain for southern N.B.

We’re under rainfall and wind warnings in parts of the province today, including Saint John and County, St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County, Sussex Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County, Fundy and Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County.
Environment Canada says winds will gust to 90 kilometres an hour today, with up to 110 kilometres an hour along the Fundy coast this afternoon and continuing until tomorrow.
Power outages are a possibility.
As for the rain, up to 40 millimetres could fall.
This could lead to localized flooding with the melting snow.
Temperatures will also hit high temperatures that are not normally seen on December 19. Winter officially arrives on Sunday morning, but Environment Canada is forecasting highs of 12 degrees for Friday. There’s even a risk of a thunderstorm. Temperatures will dip back down below zero by tonight.
