How to watch Artemis II moon mission launch
Artemis II is set to launch today from the Kennedy Space Station in Florida for the first manned mission to the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.
This flight will send four astronauts on a 10 day flight around the moon and back to test systems for future landings
It will be a historic moment for former fighter pilot Jeremy Hansen, who will be the first Canadian and first non US citizen to ever make the journey. He will be serving as the crew’s systems specialist, making sure that the equipment continues to work properly while the mission is taking place.
Jeremy’s backup is fellow Canadian Jenni Gibbins, who will also be a vital link between the flight controllers on earth and the crew as the Capsule Communicator.
The launch is set to take place at 5:24 central time on Wednesday, April 1st 2026.
NASA will provide live coverage of the launch on their official website, the NASA app for your device, their social media accounts for Facebook & X. You can even watch on their official YouTube channel.
You’ll also be able to track the spacecraft’s location in real-time through NASA’s website as well.
