Hwy 11/17 corridor in International Falls under review
The Minnesota Department of Transportation will hold a meeting next Tuesday to discuss its study of Highway 11/71 through International Falls.
The meeting will take place at the Backus Community Center on Tuesday, September 16, beginning at 5 p.m.
MnDOT is looking to identify areas to improve safety and traffic flow of motorized and non-motorized vehicles.
The study area is between Hwy 53/Second St. and County Road 91.
Final recommendations will be put to the community by the middle of next year.
Next Tuesday’s meeting will provide an overview of the study and gather suggestions from the public.
