Lakehead District School Board keeps Chair and Vice-Chair
The Lakehead District School Board’s Chair and Vice-Chair will both be staying on in their roles.
At Tuesday’s annual board meeting, Trustee Leah Vanderwey was acclaimed as Chair, and Trustee Donica LeBlanc was acclaimed as Vice-Chair.
Vanderway will now be entering her second year as Chair.
LeBlanc has been Vice-Chair since 2022.
The two were first elected as Trustees in October of 2022.
The annual meeting also saw the publication of the 2025 Director’s Annual Report.
