UPDATE: Missing 10-year-old boy in Halifax area located safe

A missing 10-year-old boy in Hatchet Lake has been found safe.

RCMP say he was last seen around 6 p.m., Sunday, near 2141 Prospect Road.

An emergency alert was issued around 8:45 p.m. for a vulnerable person.

By around 9 p.m., he was found.
