No change at the pumps expected in New Brunswick
An industry source predicts gas and diesel prices will stay the same across New Brunswick this week.
No change is expected when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts the prices Friday night.
Maximum prices currently range from $1.33 per litre for regular self-serve to $1.70 for diesel, but most stations are selling for a few cents less.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.27 to $1.29 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.55 and $1.57 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is $1.37 per litre, diesel costs around $1.66 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.23 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board normally adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m. Because of the holiday on Thursday, the adjustment occurs a day later.
