OPP lay 128 charges in Dryden traffic blitz
Provincial police laid more than 120 charges during a two-day traffic enforcement initiative in the Dryden area.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police carried out the campaign on March 5 and 6, focusing on speeding and seatbelt compliance.
Officers conducted 133 traffic stops during the blitz, resulting in 128 charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
Police also issued 74 warnings.
According to the OPP, most of the charges were related to speeding and seatbelt violations.
Police say targeted enforcement initiatives like this will continue across the region as officers work to address high-risk driving behaviours.
