Preparations underway for Dryden Christmas parade
Registration is now being accepted for this year’s Dryden Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade.
It will take place on Friday, November 28th at 6:30 p.m..
Kinsmen spokesperson Brad Coles says registration is done online.
“It’s on YourSunsetCountry.ca website under the events page, and it’s also on our Dryden Kinsman Facebook page,” says Coles.
This year’s theme is Christmas in July.
Prizes will be awarded to the best-looking floats or displays.
“We have family or neighbourhood, organization or community group, school or class, businesses less than 10 people, businesses 10 to 50 people, and businesses 50 plus, as well as an individual category,” says Coles.
“We’d like to thank everyone who helps us put on the Santa Claus parade, from the OPP marshalling the parade to the Amateur Radio Society of Dryden to the folks who participate in the floats and the audience who comes out to view the parade.”
