Saints win final game at OFSAA
St. Thomas Aquinas finished the All-Ontario high school girls’ A/AA championship with a 1-2 record.
The Saints blanked St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School from Cornwall 3-0 this morning.
Both Jaylynn Derouard and Maddyn Hughes scored their second goals of the tournament, while Leah Hamilton added another.
The Saints finished third in their pool, and did not advance to the quarter-final round.
Only the top two teams in their pool will play in the playoffs.
