Santa Claus Parade takes center stage on Saturday
Santa Claus is making an early appearance in Kenora.
The annual Santa Claus Parade takes place Saturday evening.
Chad Gropp from the Kenora Kinsmen Club says many of the details about the parade are the same as in past years.
“It begins at 5:30 pm sharp and I ask that all floats be there at 4:00 and 5:00…5:15 at the very latest,” says Gropp.
Gropp adds that in addition to the floats, people attending are asked to help out.
“Just one thing…please bring out your canned or dry good for those in need and the Salvation Army should be there to pick them up.”
The Santa Claus Parade begins and ends at the Kenora Curling Club and winds its way through downtown Kenora.
The theme this year is Christmas Vacation.
