Search for missing Lac La Croix man extends into Minnesota
American authorities are helping in the search for a missing man from Lac La Croix.
An aircraft from the Minnesota State Patrol and a drone from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office were used over the weekend to help look for 47-year-old Peter Buckle.
He was last seen on November 14th, heading to a cabin at a nearby lake.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says his boat and a campsite were found on an island located in U.S. waters.
Searchers have not found any sign of the missing man.
Ontario Provincial Police, Treaty Three Police and community members are also involved in the search efforts.
