Snowy start for southern N.B.
Snow clearing operations continued overnight, as the southern and southeastern regions in New Brunswick were hit with snow.
Motorists were forced to slow down on slippery roads.
Snowfall warnings were suddenly issued yesterday morning, calling for up to 20 centimetres in areas including Saint John and County, Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County and Fundy National Park.
Those warnings were lifted early this morning.
Due to deteriorating winter conditions, police are responding to several collisions on Highway 2 between #Memramcook and #Scoudouc. Please use caution while traveling in this area. #SnowMeansSlow pic.twitter.com/4v8Idp2n8o
