Some relief at the pumps in N.B.
Trust your eyes when you drive by the gas station Wednesday.
According to an industry source, the Energy and Utilities Board is going to use the interrupter clause Tuesday night.
But it’s good news, as the price of gas will be dropping.
After what has seemed like an endless run of increases in recent weeks, New Brunswick drivers can expect a little relief.
The price of regular self-serve gas is expected to fall 4.4 cents a litre, bringing the maximum price just below $1.78 a litre.
Diesel will also drop, with a seven-cent decrease expected.
That will bring the maximum price of diesel to about $2.45 per litre.
