Springpole project going through Environmental Assessment
The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada says it’s doing an Environmental Assessment on a proposed gold and silver mine between Pickle Lake and Red Lake.
The Springpole project is about 110 kilometers northeast of Red Lake.
First Mining Gold is proposing an open pit mine with a life span of about 10 years.
Comments on the project have to be received by the end of the month, at the end of day on March 29th.
