One dead after Highway 1 crash in Apohaqui
One man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Apohaqui on Sunday.
Members of the Sussex RCMP responded to a report of an accident on Highway 1 just before noon.
Police believe the crash occurred when the vehicle left the highway and rolled several times.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Central York Rural Community, was taken to hospital in critical condition.
He later died as a result of his injuries.
The Norton Fire Department and paramedics also attended the scene.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
