Health Canada says Sobeys Capital Inc. issued a food recall warning informing the public of cheese products being recalled from shelves due to a risk of Listeria contamination.

The various pasta salad and cauliflower cake products would have been distributed to Sobeys and Foodlands across Canada.

Affected items include creamy carbonara pasta salad with bacon and peas, creamy garlic and spinach pasta salad, and carbonara pasta salad with ham and bacon that have best before dates up to and including April 6, 2026.

Parmesan cauliflower cakes and spinach feta cauliflower cakes in both single and four-piece packs could also potentially be contaminated if they have best-before dates up to and including April 5-8, 2026.

Health Canada says these products should not be consumed or sold and instead should be returned to where they were bought or thrown out.

Health Canada says food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled, but can still make you sick.

As of the publication of this article, no illnesses have been associated with consuming these now recalled items.
