Alcohol may have been a factor in a head-on collision just outside Digby County.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Easter Sunday on Highway 1 in Clementsport.

RCMP say the driver of one of the vehicles was a youth, and noted they showed signs of impairment.

The youth was arrested on scene then taken to hospital, a passenger in the vehicle, and the driver of the other vehicle all had minor injuries.

Police say they’re still investigating the factors that caused the crash, and if impaired driving charges will be laid.
