Email, along with voice or text alarms, will chime this morning in Saint John.

It’s a test of the Saint John emergency alert and notification system.
It’ll happen at 10 am, and it will state that it is only a test.
The system is used by the Saint John Emergency Management Organization to communicate urgent notices.
Saint John will test its emergency alert system Thursday.
A release from the city said the Saint John Emergency Management Organization will send out a test alert at 10 a.m.
Residents who have signed up for the alerts will receive an email, text or voice alert with a message saying it’s only a test.
Residents who haven’t signed up for the system are encouraged to do so here.
