UPDATE: Saint John Police arrest 2nd man on Canada-wide warrant
Saint John Police located and arrested a 33-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant Tuesday.
The warrant was issued for Dylan Miller on Friday after he breached the conditions of his statutory release.
Police said they seized a quantity of drugs from Miller when he was arrested.
Miller appeared in Saint John provincial court Tuesday morning and was charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
He was remanded into custody until his next court appearance on Feb. 10 at 9:30 a.m.
Police said he failed to return to Parrtown Community Correctional Centre in Saint John on Jan. 9.
Miller is a first-time federal offender currently serving a 4½-year sentence for sexual interference, printing/publishing child pornography, agreeing/arranging a sexual offence against a child under 16 and breach of probation.
Miller is described as 5-8, 190 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He has a tattoo on his right arm of Pontus/shark/Ariel, on his left wrist of a skull and sickle, on his back of a cross/wings, and on his chest of “Abigail 02:14:2015.”
He was last seen wearing a grey and black puffy winter coat, a dark plaid button shirt with white stripes, blue denim jeans and black winter boots that lace up.
Police have warned the public to not approach Miller.
