Thunder Bay OPP calling for information in sexual assault investigation
Thunder Bay’s detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two individuals in an investigation of historic sexual assaults.
In August, the OPP launched its investigation into a series of crimes that occurred between 2020 and 2022 in the township of Gillies, near Thunder Bay.
Through the investigation, police have charged two individuals.
A 73-year-old has been charged with two counts of sexual interference and two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16.
A 63-year-old has also been charged with three counts of assault.
The two accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on December 10.
