Two southern Ontario teenagers facing murder charges
Ontario Provincial Police have charged an 18-year old and and a 15-year old with second degree murder and attempted murder in connection with a shooting this week in Ginoogaming First Nation, near Longlac.
One person was killed and another was injured in the incident that occured early Wednesday evening.
The incident led to the closure of schools while OPP and Anishinabek Police Service searched for the suspects.
Quinton Hooper, and the 15-yeaer-old who can not be named remain pending a court appearance in Thunder Bay
The name of the person killed has not been released.
Meantime, Ginoogaming residents will continue to see an increase police presence for the next several days as police continue to their investigation.
Police are also asking anyone with information to contact them.
