Wildfire in Albert County
Firefighters are dealing with an out-of-control wildfire in Albert County Sunday.
According to the Department of Natural Resources’ wildfire dashboard, the fire was first reported just after 2 p.m. on May 24.
It’s currently covering about five hectares, but the province does not consider it a fire of note.
Two other fires are listed as “under control,” one west of Richibucto and another near Shediac.
All of New Brunswick is currently under a total burn ban.
