7 Saints qualify for NWOSSA badminton championships
Seven students from St. Thomas Aquinas have qualified for the NWOSSA badminton championships.
Parker Francis and Fenton McEwan took gold in the senior boys doubles division, while Maddyn Hughes and Delaney Turner took silver in the senior girls doubles.
Ryder Kocis and Sofia Soto placed second in the senior mixed doubles field, while Jax Anderson claimed the silver medal in the senior boys singles division.
They’ll all attend the NWOSSA championships in Thunder Bay next Wednesday.
