Friendship Centre begins strategic planning process
The Dryden Native Friendship Centre is starting to plan for its next five years.
The centre’s board of directors and executive director announced Wednesday the beginning of a strategic planning process.
The initiative aims to shape the centre’s future direction, enhance services and strengthen its commitment to supporting Indigenous and non-Indigenous members of the community, as well as people in the surrounding areas.
Community engagement is already underway with in-person and online surveys available.
Conversations with stakeholders and community partners will begin soon.
A statement from the centre said those conversations will help identify priorities and create actionable strategies that reflect the aspirations and needs of the community.
Anyone looking for more information about the process can contact executive director Karen Smith at execdirector@dnfconline.org.
