Oxdrift Fire Department handles outdoor blaze
Oxdrift Volunteer Fire fighters managed to extinguish an outdoor fire before it spread too far.
Last night, a blaze got into a nearby wood pile, but fire fighters managed to keep the flames to the area of origin and the firewood.
Nearby neighbors also managed to assist in containing the fire before it could spread further.
The fire department reminds residents to have sufficient means of extinguishing an outdoor fire.
