Woman charged with attempted murder after Halifax stabbing
A 41-year-old woman is facing multiple charges following a stabbing in Halifax.
Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to the 6500 block of Bayers Road around 4 p.m. Friday for a report of a stabbing.
Police say officers breached the door of the residence and arrested the suspect without incident.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
Investigators say the victim and suspect were known to one another.
A 41-year-old woman has now been charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon dangerous and uttering threats.
