2 people now charged in connection with death of Grassy Narrows man
Provincial Police have laid additional charges related to the death of a 21-year-old Grassy Narrows man, while arresting a second person.
24-year-old Terrance Cherry of Kenora is facing a charge of first degree murder.
He had previously been charged with committing an indignity to a dead body in connection with the death of Mehki Pelly.
Pelly, who also went by the name of Mehki Scott, was the subject of a missing persons report last month.
Police arrested Cherry at the beginning of November, but were still searching for Pelly Scott’s remains at the time.
A second person has also been charged in connection with the case.
OPP say 43-Una Cherry of Kenora has been arrested for being an accessory to murder.
Both individuals are being held in custody pending December court appearances.
