$174 thousand in illegal drugs discovered by police in Fort Frances
Another sizable drug bust in Fort Frances.
Provincial Police say $174,000 worth of methamphetamine, cocaine and other drugs were seized during an investigation earlier this week.
OPP from the Rainy River and Kenora districts, along with Treaty Three Police, were involved.
A 59-year-old woman was taken into custody.
She is facing three counts of drug trafficking, along with a charge of possessing proceeds of property obtained by crime and a weapon charge.
She was being held in custody and will appear in court at a future date.
The seizure is the latest in a string of successful drug busts for police in the community.
In separate cases in recent days, OPP and Treaty Three Police uncovered $1 million and $20,000 in illegal drugs.
